This week I went to a nightclub and bought a new microwave, two things I haven’t done in 10 years. Things I am not loving this week include shots of Sambuca in tiny plastic cups followed by a 6am wake up.
Our microwave has turned into quite the comedian, only heating stuff up when in a good mood and occasionally activating his turntable at free will, so we took him to the tip. Who’s laughing now. Enter new microwave, Monsieur Swan. Rather impractical I should imagine, matte white in a kitchen, but handsome nonetheless. Am now coveting his equally impractical lady friend, Madame Kettle.
Swan Nordic Collection, here.
Not Sambuca, but Wispa Hot Chocolate. Because it’s cold isn’t it? Unseasonably so. This stuff is awesome, really frothy. Just add hot water to it and it froths up all on it’s own, magic self-frothing hot chocolate. Shall I say froth again?
Ordered and returned those wedding frocks from ASOS, plus this one from Never Fully Dressed which I loved but gave me wearing white to a wedding fear. Then ventured to an actual shop, Whistles, which was terribly successful in that I am now in possession of two beautiful dresses, if £300 lighter for it.
Never Fully Dressed Carmen Splash Dress, £79, here.
Whistles Mini Leopard Pleated Dress, £179 (currently 20% off), here.
Whistles Devina Henna Print Dress, £199 (currently 20% off), here.
Til next time,
