Empties: Would I Repurchase?

Used it, all of it, every last drop of it. Would repurchase some of it, would leave the rest of it. To the mini reviews!

SKINCARE

Like the Beauty Pie Super Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream very much, it definitely does some smoothing and hydrating and does not make eyes irritated or puffy. Will definitely repurchase, along with the Beauty Pie Jeju Daily AM/PM Moisture Superinfusion which is a long time fave. The Neal’s Yard Rehydrating Rose Toner is a lovely gentle, refreshing product, perfect for those who like a simple cleanse-tone-moisturise skincare routine. I love The Ordinary 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil so much that I am considering stockpiling it. Had a two week break between finishing this bottle and buying a new one and my skin is all the worse for it. From normal to parched. Dry patches returned, makeup didn’t sit right. Please may it never be discontinued.

FOUNDATION

The L’Oréal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation is super, but discontinued. A few shades are currently available for £3.25 at Fragrance Direct so I have another one waiting in the wings. Also super is the No7 Perfect & Protect Foundation, though I probably wouldn’t repurchase it – there are other No7 foundations I prefer and the It Cosmetics CC Cream it was inspired by pips it in terms of performance, if not price.

MASCARA and BROWS

Enjoyed the Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara but wouldn’t repurchase as there are other mascaras at this price point that I prefer. Conversely, have already repurchased the fantastic Beauty Pie Super Brow Fine Precision Pencil in Perfect Brown (Cool).

HAIR

My favourite dry shampoo is still the original Batiste, nothing refreshes limp hair quite like it. Colab Dry Shampoo is like a Batiste-light, ideal for styling, adding volume and texture, and doesn’t leave any white residue.

BODY

The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a light, dry oil that is particularly good for moisturising scaly skins. Smells great. Lasts forever. Would definitely repurchase.

Til next time,

Hayley

I too was a loyal Batiste user, until I discovered Lidl’s own brand dry shampoo. Cheap as chips but without the grease. Love it.
