The H Edit: What I’m Loving This Week

USING

Ran out of my favourite Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff so dug out his lesser used sister, Dusk. Poor Dusk was relegated the moment Puff arrived in all his pretty perky pinky glory. But Dusk is a dark horse. Halfway between bronzer and blush, on my skin tone, have taken to using it in the manner of a cream bronzer – cheekbones, down the nose, a little at the hairline – and it is perfect. Think they are coworkers, one ideal for summer the other putting in the winter shift. Glossier Cloud Paint, £15 or £25 for a duo, here.

WORSHIPPING

Something monumental has happened this week. I went 24 hours straight without applying lip balm. If you are not in the grip of a lip balm addiction the gravity of this situation will escape you, but trust me it is an event. The only thing I can put it down to is the £16 Clinique lip balm, which is looking cheaper by the minute should the frequency of usage drop to just once a day. All hail. SWITCHING

Have made the switch, from Sainsbury’s to Ocado. Get me. Got fed up with Sainsbury’s and their substitutions and short dated stock. It has only been one week, so my only observation so far is thus: Ocado has a significantly better selection of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. It also sells Birds Eye Sweet Potato Waffles. Sweet potato waffles! Yes, yes, get in my basket, yes. I mean, Sainsbury’s are also likely to stock said waffles but have they ever offered them to me as a suggested purchase? No, they have not.
