The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter Review

Makeup removal. What a chore. Any product that makes it easy and speedy is a hit with me.

Balm cleanser is that product. Scoop it out, rub in it, remove with a hot flannel. Bingo. My fave is the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, £23 for 125ml. Discovered it a few years ago and have used it ever since. A devotee.

But it’s £23. For a product that is mostly washed down the drain. Ouch. I mean, the jar is huge and it does last, so I’m not suggesting it’s poor value for money, not at all. But if there was more affordable option, well, I would not be mad about it.

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, £10 for 90ml, is a new find that is not making me mad at all. This stuff is great. Not a dupe for the Clinique as the texture is different. Less firm, easier to rub in. Silky. But not so much that it turns to liquid, runs down your arms and drips off your elbows. No wet pjs here.

And it does a great job of removing makeup, melts it right off. As good as the Clinique Balm even. Eye makeup too.

Not mad.

Til next time,

Hayley
