Christmas gift guide time! Listen, I know it’s early, but it just makes sense to get a jump on these things, spread out the expenditure (not to mention the festive cheer). That, and the really great beauty gifts often sell out. So let’s get cracking shall we? Because I have scoured the sites and stores, left no stone unturned, explored every Christmas crevice in my search for the best beauty buys of Christmas 2019. Stay tuned, I have options for a range of budgets coming your way, starting with this, my pick of the best beauty gifts under £20.
FENTY BEAUTY Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip & Face Set, currently £16.15 (usual price £19) at Boots, here.
The first of two lovely little sets from Rihanna’s beauty brand Fenty, the limited edition Lip & Face Set contains two mini luminising products, one Killawatt Foil Highlighter and one Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer.

The other set from Fenty Beauty is a bronzing duo, one mini version of her bestselling Match Stix, a cream-to-powder shimmer stick bronzer, and one powder bronzer. Available in two colour options for fair and deep skin tones.
NEAL’S YARD REMEDIES Nourishing Orange Flower Skincare Kit, £20, here.
Neal’s Yard do several versions of this skincare kit, aimed at different skin types, though having used the glorious Orange Flower range I think it would be suitable for most. The kit contains four mini products, a cleansing facial wash, a toner, a facial oil and a daily moisturiser, a full travel-sized skincare routine complete with organic cotton bag.
MAC COSMETICS Spellbinder Eyeshadows, £19 each, here.
The Christmas collections from MAC are always worth a look and these Spellbinder eyeshadows really are something to see. They contain magnetically charged ionised pigments that fuse the loose powder and help it stay on the eyelid. Next time you pass a counter go and stick your finger in one. Amazing. Metallic finish with a shock of multicoloured glitter running through them, in a range of shades.
NARS Mini Orgasm Blush & Lipstick Set, £16 at Selfridges, here.
Selfridges is the only place that I can find this NARS duo in stock, though they do deliver. Two minis, a lipstick and a blush, in the award-winning, universally flattering Orgasm shade.
ZOEVA Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette, currently £13.50 (usual price £18) at Beauty Bay, here.
Isn’t this a well curated edit of colours? And a perfect balance of matte and shimmer, in addition to a shade selection inspired by a box of chocolates. Neutrals with a twist. I haven’t tried Zoeva eyeshadows myself but the reviews are unanimous: they good. As is the price.
