These are my two new dresses, my wedding guest outfit options for summer 2019. I say mine, one must be returned otherwise the children will be forced to eat normal fruit rather than the ruinously expensive mango and blueberries to which they have become accustomed.
Really I want to keep both because then it’s done, the posh dress shopping. There’s something a bit stressful about special occasion dress shopping, isn’t there? If I kept both, should a surprise black tie event occur (literally never happens) I would be armed and ready in my tiny leopard print ruffles.
Incidentally, everything except the dresses is very affordable indeed, the lipstick is the £2.99 bargain that is the Collection Velvet Kiss Moisturising Lip Cream in Rosie (review here) shoes are £19.50 from M&S (here) and the gold hoop earrings are from Claire’s Accessories that I bought as fancy dress.
What are we saying pals, red or blue? Or to be more accurate, orangey red or bluey green? (Mango or blueberries?) I think Blueberries is more flattering but Mango is more edgy, a little bit cooler, could imagine wearing it with a leather jacket to a big birthday party or similar. Decisions.
