This stuff is hyped. Popping up all over Instagram. But is it any good? Let’s review the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector, £18 full size, and find out…Is it worth the hype?
What Is It?
A very lightly tinted moisturising lip product. Halfway between a lip balm and a gloss.
The Good:
- Formula – moisturising, nice viscosity (not too thick, not too thin, not too sticky).
- Applicator – lovely, a super soft sponge, quite unique.
The Less Good:
- Uhh…It’s just tinted lip balm you guys.
A nice product, but nothing major. Nothing innovative. Nice lip balm, nicely packaged.
I do use them all the time. They are great on no-makeup-makeup days. Or over a liquid lipstick that’s started to fade. So if you have the cash to splash, go ahead.
If not, the No7 BB Lips, £9, are a total dupe. Minus the applicator sponge.
Til next time,
Hayley
