As you can probably tell from What I Wore This Week, have mainly been loving my new corduroy trousers. Honestly have had to force myself to wear something else, could have quite happily worn these Topshop cords every single day. For a gold corduroy trouser they are surprisingly versatile. They go with every shoe option – boot, sandal, loafer, trainer – and perfectly complement my selection of cream and grey jumpers. To think I nearly sent them back for being a bit much, too far out of my comfort zone. Now I’m fully revelling in their outrageousness. Although I did feel a little conspicuous when I wore them to the park, post preschool, with the sea of other Mums in denim. Who’s the prat in the silly round Ray-Bans and gold corduroy trousers, that’d be me Your Honour, guilty as charged.
Have become newly obsessed with this perfume, the Rituals Fleurs de L’Himalaya, £39.90 for 50ml. It must be the time of year, the slightest whiff of Spring and I want to smell like the Valley of Flowers. Orchid, peony, jasmine and patchouli. A light, fresh floral with a slight woody, musky depth to it. Doesn’t last very long, priced accordingly.
Have you seen all the promo for The Hills reboot? The Hills: New Beginnings, it’s called? Heidi and Audrina are back, as is Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt, Brody and, my personal favourite, Justin Bobby. Joining the old cast, randomly, is Mischa Barton. Cannot. Wait. The excitement is softening the blow that Celebrity Love Island isn’t happening after all. They got me hook, line and sinker with that April Fools.
Til next time,
