Makeup and denim. Here’s what I’m loving this week.
The SpaceNK minis section. You know, the bit by the till? Travel Sizes, if you’re looking for them on the website. Well. Goldmine. So much good stuff, cult beauty products at more accessible prices. Little Cover FX Illuminating Setting Sprays. Travel haircare from brands like Ouai, Oribe and IGK. Mini Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. A £12 NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. Becca Primers. A travel size Champagne Pop! Do check it out if you have a couple of hundred pounds weighing you down. They might be travel size, but it’s still SpaceNK. They will relieve you of those spends, tout suite.
Topshop Mom Jeans, £40. I always thought Mom Jeans were for other people, cooler people, people who drink craft beer and live in Peckham, or wherever is cool these days. Not for me, an actual Mom, just not sure I could pull them off and thought they’d be unflattering. I was wrong. Bought a pair, am obsessed. They are so comfortable. Skinny jeans suddenly feel like such effort, all that wriggling and pulling and hoisting. Mom Jeans just sit there behaving themselves, making your waist look tiny. Strongly enjoy.
The Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows, £15.50. It’s so good. Had given up on pencils, and filling in my brows in general really, bar a bit of brow powder on the tail and a brush through with brow gel. My eyebrows aren’t even slightly symmetrical and filling them in just seems to emphasis the wonk. But this little pencil from Clinique is excellent, nice ashy tone, perfect consistency – not too stiff, not too waxy. I actually find it quicker and more precise than powder. Got it free in one of their gift with purchase bags, but would totally buy it at full price.
Til next time,
