Pixi Glow Tonic

Pixi Glow Tonic Review

What the dickens is a glow tonic and what do you do with it? Let’s talk skincare, exfoliating and acids that you put on your face.

Cleanse, tone, moisturise. Three simple steps to better skin. Cleansing is essentially washing your face. But using a cleanser is much better for your face than soap. Easy.

For the tone step, you want an exfoliating toner. One that contains acids: lactic, glycolic, citric, salicylic. These acids exfoliate your skin without the need for those little scrubby beads.

Then moisturise. With any or all of the following: eye cream, serum, facial oil, moisturiser.

Pixi Glow Tonic is an exfoliating toner, a cult product among skincare buffs. It contains a decent amount of glycolic acid, at 5%, yet is incredibly gentle. Wet a cotton pad then wipe over your face and décolletage (and should you feel inclined, the backs of your hands) after cleansing, morning and night.

I started using it instead of the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme and prefer it. Think my skin is indeed a bit glowier.

Pixi Glow Tonic is available at M&S, £18 for 250ml here, or £10 for 100ml here.

Til next time,
