Such a pretty, pale pink in the bottle. I was expecting a pinky nude. OPI themselves describe the shade Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon from their Spring/Summer 2017 Fiji Collection as perfect for blushing brides. Beauty Bay call it a soft baby pink that is creamy, light and subtle. So I was a little surprised by how pink it is on the nails.
And not a good pink. Neither pale enough to be a chic neutral, nor vibrant enough to be bold. It sits somewhere in the middle, a bubblegum pink. The shade of Barbie’s car. It’s also oddly unflattering against my skintone. Not a fan.
Poor colour choice aside, the formula of this polish also sucks. Super streaky, you need at least three coats for it to be opaque. And no matter how long you leave it to dry, the second coat lifts off the initial layer, leaving brush marks and indents.
I can’t comment on wear time as I removed it immediately. Begone ugly Barbie nails. But I know it would have chipped fast too, formulas that need three coats do. Disappointing.
